The Governor of Rivers State, Chief, Barr, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has said that only death can stop him from going ahead with his presidential ambition.

The governor, said this during an interview on BBC News Pidgin in Port Harcourt, today.

According to him, as long as he stays alive, he will get to the end of the contest.

Gov. Wike stated that he decided to contest in the 2023 presidential election, to help solve the problems bedeviling the nation.

The presidential hopeful, noted that he is the most qualified candidate to transform the nation, due to his track records, when he was local government chairman, Minister and now governor of Rivers State.

He blasted the APC-led Federal government for deceiving Nigerians and failing to deliver on its campaign promises.

Wike, furthermore, said he would win the 2023 presidential election, if he emerges flagbearer of the People’s Democratic Party.

Recall that he had in a statement said he would support whoever emerges, if he fails to secure the party’s ticket.
