Presidential hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Tein Jackrich has promised to generate 26,000 jobs in all the 774 local government areas in the country, if elected President of the country in 2023.
Jackrich, made this known when he officially declared to contest the 2023 presidential election over the weekend.
According to him, Nigeria would become one of the top 20 economies if elected.
The Rivers born politician noted that he has what it takes to transform the nation, as he vowed not to let Nigerians down.
He also said he would focus on youth and women empowerment, infrastructure and job creation if elected as President of Nigeria.
“The global economy is about $83tn and the continent of Africa is just three per cent of the global value chain.. That’s about $2.5tn…it is struggling with the economy of California which has a GDP of $3.6tn,” he said.
“California is about the size of Lagos and Ogun states in South-West Nigeria and Nigeria is just 19.8 per cent of Africa’s GDP. That is worrisome,” he added.
