Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has urged the media in the state to give candidates from political parties equal opportunity, to enable Rivers people choose the best.
Enefaa, who disclosed this in a statement, said no candidate should be projected more than the other by the media, irrespective of party affiliation.
He also advised Rivers people to stop begging political parties to field credible candidates, as they will pick the best from those presented.
According to him, he wants a leader with clear idea on how to build industries, provide electricity, amongst others.
“The Media In Rivers State, Should Grill & Give All The Candidates From All Contesting Political Parties Equal Opportunity. Let’s Choose!”, he said.
I Don’t Want An Ethnic Governor, I Want A RIVERS STATE Governor With Clear Idea To Build Industry, Mechanize Agric, Provide Alternate Electricity, Etc.
“Rivers People Should Stop Begging Political Parties To Project Credible Candidates. When They Bring Their Dummies, Rivers People Will Pick The Best,” he added.
