Former Attorney General of Rivers State and chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, Worgu Boms says Sen. Magnus Abe is the next governor of the state.
Boms, in a statement Today said Abe will be the next governor not because he is the best but, because he is the one Rivers people want to govern them.
He noted that trying to stop Abe will not work as nobody can stop the sun from shinning, adding that the former federal lawmaker means well for people of the state.
His statement reads,
Magnus Abe is the next Governor of Rivers State – not because he is the best, ( those who governed before, were they the best?) – but because he is the one the people want to govern them, just as those who governed before were wanted by the people.
Trying to stop Magnus – through any means – will not work.
You cannot stop the sun from shining.
It will still shine, all you do is avoid the ray by running away into a shed or your house.

Senator Magnus Ngei Abe means well- there’s no harm in wishing him well, even, in unselfishly joining him in making input for the flourishing of our state which will be his focus as Governor!
