A young woman has been arrested in Port Harcourt following the alleged poisoning and death of her boyfriend in what authorities suspect was a calculated act of revenge over infidelity.
According to local sources, the woman is believed to have discovered her partner’s unfaithfulness and responded by poisoning his food. Witnesses allege that after he died, she concealed his body under the bed and made no attempt to alert anyone.
The body reportedly remained hidden for three days until neighbours, disturbed by a foul odour and the man’s sudden disappearance, alerted police. Officers forced entry into the residence, where they found the decomposing body and detained the woman at the scene.
