Popular social media activist, VeryDarkMan has taken a swipe at Reno Omokri for hailing the administration of President, Bola Tinubu, stating that he lacks integrity.
This was after Omokri posted a picture of him with Tinubu and said, “For the past, we’ve been borrowing and borrowing. Previous administrations don’t have the courage to do what this administration has done – stop fuel subsidy. To sustain fuel subsidy, you need to be borrowing and when you keep borrowing, future governments, future generations are going to pay for it which is what we’re experiencing now.”
”Right now, we’re like Vietnam, our currency is now being stabilised, we’re now having more goods manufactured in Nigeria, gradually it’s going to affect you and I. So I want you to be patient,” he said.
Reacting, VeryDarkMan played a video of Omokri protesting against Tinubu during his visit to the UK (Chatham House) during the 2023 presidential campaign.
He said, “Reno Omokri, what are you doing with someone you once called a drug lord? Do you want to learn how to sell drugs? I’m just curious, o; it’s none of my business! You can clearly see that you lack integrity.
“By the way, I won’t pretend I didn’t know that you begged a lot of people to help you meet Tinubu. I saw many people you pleaded with to arrange a meeting.
In 2023, you were campaigning for Atiku. I know politics is a dirty game, but at least have some integrity.”
