Yeni Kuti, the daughter of legendary Afrobeat Singer, Fela Anikulakpor Kuti has stated that she would be getting married at 75.
The first daughter of late Fela Kuti who has always been asked about her marital status, equally revealed that she is planing her wedding with her partner.
The retired dancer who made the disclosure to journalists today, confirmed that she is currently broke due to the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19.
Yeni noted that the closure of businesses, event centers, including the New Afrikan Shrine, had taken its toll on the entertainment sector. “Our kind of business is not what one can run online. People have to come to the Shrine to enjoy themselves and that’s when they patronise us.” she asserted.
The dancer furthermore criticized the flaunting of flashy items on social media saying, “I don’t do that, even if I can afford it, I am not that kind of person.
