The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has confirmed the receipt of the refund of $760,000 from the American International School, Abuja as advanced school fees by a former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, for his children.
The school, had asked the EFCC to provide “authentic banking details” for the refund of fees.
Recall that Yahaya Bello reportedly signed a contract with the School to prepay $845,000 (Over 1 Billion naira withdrawn from Kogi state account) in school fees.
