The Rivers State Government has said that all hands must be on deck to end open defecation in the state.
Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja made this known in a statement to mark the occasion of this year’s World Toilet Day today, with the theme: Sustainable Sanitation and Climate change.
The commissioner noted that the state government is doing everything within its reach to end open defecation in the state.
He called on stakeholders in the state to support and assist the government to put an end to the menace.
