The Executive Chairman of Emohua local government area of Rivers state, Hon. Chidi Lloyd has redeemed the two million naira bounty placed on suspected kidnapper Onuigwe Wordi.
The state Commissioner of Police, Polycarp Emeka Nwonyi confirmed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He said Wordi and three others were killed in Okrika local government area after a shoot out with the Police.
According to him, Wordi and his men have been terrorizing the Elibrada axis of Emohua.
The CP accused Wordi of killing mobile officers, kidnapping, armed robbery amongst others.
Recall that Chidi Lloyd had placed a one million naira bounty on Wordi which was later raised to two million naira.
