Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara has hailed former commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu for serving the state professionally.
Speaking, when Police Officers Wives Association, POWA, led by the wife of the IGP, Elizabeth Egbetokun, paid him a courtesy visit at Government House Port Harcourt, Fubara said without Disu the state would have been destroyed.
According to him, Disu served the state professionally despite finding himself in a difficult situation.
Also, Gov. Fubara urged the women to advise their husbands to discharge their duties without fear or favour.
He commended the association for the visit and vowed to support their activities.
