Allies of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, have secured key positions in the South-South Zonal Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At the party’s zonal congress held on Wednesday in Delta State, Victor Giadom was re-elected as the APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), while Samuel Nwanosike emerged as the South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary.
Giadom’s re-election ensures his continued leadership in the zone, while Nwanosike takes over as the new spokesperson for the party in the South-South region.
Both positions are among the slots allocated to Rivers State within the APC’s South-South Zonal Executive Committee, further strengthening the influence of Wike’s political allies in the region.
