Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Geirgewill has said that Governor, Nyesom Wike was elected to bring progress to the state and not for what he described as “nonsense politics” he is currently playing.
Georgewill, who made this known in a statement today, was reacting to the ongoing rift between Governor, Wike and his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki.
According to the outspoken activist, Obaseki mainly won the election because he is an incumbent Governor and nothing more.
“Obaseki won mainly because he is an incumbent Governor. We vote Wike to bring progress to Rivers State. Not this Nonsense Politics,” he said.
The RIVCSO Boss had earlier described Wike’s attack on Obaseki as an act of hypocrisy.
