The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) will commission several completed infrastructure projects over two weeks to mark President Bola Ahmed tinubu’ss second year in office.
FCT Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, announced the plan on Saturday, May 10, during a press briefing following an inspection tour of ongoing projects in the Abuja city center.
Wike stated that the projects span urban, satellite, and rural areas, underscoring the administration’s focus on inclusive development. Among the key projects scheduled for commissioning are the Arterial Road N16 linking Maitama and Katampe, the 16-kilometer OSEX II-Wasa service carriageway connecting Apo and Wasa, and Arterial Road N5 stretching from Lifecamp Junction to Ring Road III.
Other projects include the renovated International Conference Centre (ICC), the Greater Abuja Water Project, and several rural road networks.
The Minister emphasized that the two-week commissioning timeline reflects the scale of development undertaken under the current administration.
