The Rivers State Government has reacted to claims by the All Progressives Congress in the state that Governor, Nyesom Wike is trying to join the party through the back door.
Spokesperson of the Rivers APC, Darlington Nwauju had in a statement said Wike after criticizing the party has perfected plans to join them through the back door.
However, the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Chris Finebone, Today denied the claims noting that Gov. Wike remains a member of the PDP.
He described the statement as laughable stressing that the state governor has no plans of leaving the PDP.
