Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Chijioke Ihunwo has again accused the FCT, Minister, Nyesom Wike of sponsoring attacks on council secretariats in the State.
Ihunwo made the allegation when he appeared as a guest on Arise News on Tuesday.
According to him, Nyesom Wike, federal lawmaker; O.K Chinda and factional Speaker of the State Assembly, Martin Amaewhule who are all from his LGA are behind the crises rocking the state.
He also accused Wike of going against the directive of the state governor on the restriction of movement on election day, by sponsoring protests in the state, in a bid to halt the elections.
He stated that Wike’s plan is to control the state as his personal estate, adding that they will resist every attempt by him to achieve his selfish desires.
Ihunwo added that his claims are not unfounded and challenged the Minister to sue him if he likes.
