Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has slammed the former governor of the state and current Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi. Wike says Amaechi should be in jail for overseeing the closure of courts in the state while he was governor.
Wike made this known during a live Television interview yesterday. He said the former Governor should not be walking free if Nigeria truly practices democracy.
“With due respect to President Muhammadu Buhari, I think he shouldn’t have had such a man as a Minister. He (Amaechi) should be in jail for violation of human rights,” he said.
