Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike has ordered the revocation of 762 plots of land belonging to prominent Nigerians for failing to pay for the Certificates of Occupancy (C-of-O) of the properties in Abuja.
Plots belonging to corporate organizations were also revoked by the Minister.
Lere Olayinka – media aide to the Minister made this known in a statement on Thursday.
Prominent names on the list include Muhammadu Buhari Trust Foundation, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and former governors Rochas Okorocha and Ben Ayade.
Others affected include Senate Chief Whip Tahir Monguno and Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen.
