Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has redeemed the promise of One Hundred Thousand dollars ($100,000) to players of Rivers United for defeating Young Africans of Tanzania.
Media Officer of Rivers United, Charles Mayuku, made this known yesterday.
He said the Sole Administrator of Rivers United FC, Barrister Chris Green made the presentation this evening during the team’s training session at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Rivers state.
According to him, the Governor also promised another One Hundred Thousand dollars ($100,000) for a win on Sunday against Al Hilal FC of Sudan.
