Former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has commended President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for suspending the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
Wike in a statement through his media team shortly after Emefiele’s suspension was announced described the move as “bold and timely.”
He also said the G-5 are happy with the President’s exemplary leadership.
The President, had on Friday suspended Emefiele and directed him to immediately hand over to Folashodu Shonubi the bank’s Deputy Governor (Operations Directorate).
