Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has directed that the governing council of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education be dissolved with immediate effect.
The state Commissioner for Education, Kaniye Ebeku made this known in a statement, yesterday.
He said council members are to handover all University property in their possession to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele.
