The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council has stated that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State needs to appease to the Igbos over the killings in Oyigbo LGA.
The group in a statement signed by its President-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro blasted Governor Wike for criticising Governor Dave Umahi’s move to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Isiguzoro who said Wike has no right to blast Umahi over his defection referred to him as the “Idi Amin of PDP” while describing Umahi as the “New Zik of Africa.”
“…until he had appeased the igbo, because he exhibits dictatorship qualities that portray him as the “idi amin of PDP”, politically, Wike had been trapped within Rivers State boundaries with a lot of moral burdens,” he said.
They commended Umahi for the move describing him as one of the assets of the Igbo nation.
