The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday hosted a delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Rivers State at his residence in Abuja.
The meeting brought together key figures within the party, including the newly returned APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Victor Giadom, alongside senators, members of the House of Representatives, and other prominent party stakeholders.
Also in attendance was the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, as well as several members of the state assembly and top APC leaders from Rivers State.
Details of the discussions at the closed-door meeting were not made public immediately. However, the gathering is believed to be part of ongoing political consultations and alignments within the party in the South-South region.
