Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the reconstitution of the Rivers State Traditional rulers council with His Majesty, Ohna Sergeant Awuse, Paramount Ruler of Emohua Kingdom, as Chairman of Rivers State Traditional Rulers.
Wike, announced the appointment at the State Awards and Pre-Inauguration Dinner night held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Port Harcourt on Saturday.
Announcing His Majesty, Ohna Awuse, as the new Chairman of Rivers State Traditional Rulers, Governor Wike, said:
“By the powers vested on me as the Governor of Rivers State, I have graciously approved Ohna Sergeant Awuse as Chairman of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council.”
