ABUJA – The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of dishonesty in their push for a political coalition ahead of the 2027 elections.
Wike issued the warning while reacting to recent coalition talks spearheaded by Atiku and supported by the PDP Governors’ Forum. He cautioned that a repeat of the 2023 presidential election loss looms if the party continues with what he described as acts of impunity.
According to Wike, the internal issues that led to the PDP’s defeat in 2023 remain unresolved, and the same mistakes could cost the party its chances in the next general election.
