One Thelma Bestman and Wilson Okelekele – a security guard were yesterday, sentenced to death by hanging by a State High Court in Port Harcout for collaborating to kill Thelma’s husband, Mr Bestman Wagbara.
Thelma was accused of conspiring with Wilson to kill Wagbara at their residence in Port Harcourt in 2020.
The trial judge, justice Augusta Chuku held that the prosecution was able to prove the case of conspiracy and murder againt Thelma and Wilson.
However, lawyer to Thelma after the court ruling said they will appeal the judgement.
