There was mild drama at the Emenike axis of Mile 2 in Diobu, Port Harcourt on Thursday night after a woman caught her husband in one of the brothels in the area.
Sources say the woman was walking past the brothel when she saw her husband entering inside with a sex worker.
They said she quickly approached the man and engaged him in a fight, while raining insults on him.
According to her, the wayward act is the reason why the husband hardly provides for the family, as it is evident that he lavishes his earnings on prostitutes.
A man who prepares Shawarma in front of the brothel said the woman embarrassed the husband who was shocked and could not say anything to defend himself.
He said it took the intervention of passersby and staff of the brothel to calm the situation which drew condemnation from women around.
He also said the incident infuriated the sex workers who almost beat up the woman for coming to create a scene in the brothel if not for the intervention of the manager.
