The Federal Government says it is yet to implement the court ruling stopping monthly federal allocation to Rivers State.
Director of Press in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Bawa Mokwa made this known in a statement on Friday in reaction to reports that Rivers State did not receive allocation for the month of October.
According to him, the disbursement of October allocation to states and local governments by FAAC is ongoing, and that Rivers State will benefit because of a subsisting appeal.
“Disbursement of October allocation to states and local governments by FAAC is ongoing. Rivers State will benefit because of a subsisting appeal/stay of execution order,” he said.
