Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, has revealed that he narrowly avoided being sacked last season.
Guardiola credited his strong relationship with the club’s chairman and sporting director as the key reason he remains in charge.
The Spaniard made the disclosure as City kicked off their 2025/2026 Premier League campaign in dominant fashion, securing a 4-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
