The Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that they have what it takes in terms of technology and knowledge to put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tedros, who made this known while Speaking in Geneva, said he hopes the virus goes away in two years.
He said, “Of course with more connectedness, the virus has a better chance of spreading, “But at the same time, we have also the technology to stop it, and the knowledge to stop it.”
Tedros stressed the importance of “national unity and global solidarity” while advising citizens to continue obeying the organization’s directives on COVID-19, to curb its spread.
