The World Health Organization has announced that people above 60 years should ensure they put on face masks when they are out in public places. This is because they are more vulnerable to the dreaded COVID-19.
The WHO made this known in a set of guidelines released Today. It stated that those over 60 should wear medical-grade face masks when they’re out and cannot socially distance themselves.
The WHO also said those with underlying health conditions should also endeavour to do same with high-quality nose masks, to help stop the transmission of the virus.
It said more complex masks made of three layers should be worn by members of the public while medical masks should be worn by
people over 60 or with underlying health conditions.
