The White House has described reports that President, Joe Biden is considering quitting the Presidential race as false.
Andrew Bates – Deputy Press Secretary and Deputy Assistant to the president in a post on X said the claim is “absolutely false.”
“This claim is absolutely false and if we had been given more than 7 minutes we could have communicated this before it was publicized.
“That claim is absolutely false. If the New York Times had provided us with more than 7 minutes to comment we would have told them so,” he posted.
This was shortly after the New York Times had reported that Biden had informed some of his allies of his intention to quit the race.
