Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Tony Okocha has received scores of defectors from the Social Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
Speaking, during a reception to welcome the defectors into its fold in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Okocha said the party is open to anyone willing to join.
He said the party under his leadership is being repositioned to sweep the PDP out of the state and takeover governance in no distant time.
Okocha also said he hopes the crisis in the PDP will continue to harvest more members for the APC.
He assured the defectors of equal opportunities in the party and urged them to convince more persons to join its fold.
