Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says his administration will continue to partner with security agencies to fight crime and criminality in the state.
Wike said this at an empowerment programme for women in Port Harcourt organised by the wife of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
According to him, he has provided equipment and logistical support to security agencies to ensure adequate security of lives and property.
The governor who was represented by the Chief of Staff to the State Government House, Emeka Woke, also said that the state is peaceful contrary to claims by some members of the opposition parties that the state is insecure.
