A student of Community Secondary School, Rumuapara in Obio/Akpor Local Government has alleged that they were thoroughly beaten up by soldiers invited by the Principal of the school on Thursday.
The student, in a chat with Elanhub said they were treated like criminals by the military officers.
He alleged that they were shocked and flogged for what they did not do, as he laid curses on the school management and the military officers.
“I’m a student of the school, we were all treated like criminals today by military men. We were shocked and floged for wat we didn’t do. Our tears and pains will hunt them to the fullest,” he said.
Principal of the school had allegedly invited military officers to the school to discipline some students over plans to beat up staff of the institution.
He later confirmed the development in a statement, adding that the officers did not touch any student but only cautioned them.
