Students of the Rivers State College of Health Sciences have continued their protest against poor learning environment.
The protest, started yesterday over what they described as ‘neglect’ by the state government and Management of the School.
The students, who were seen carrying placards with the inscription “We Are Tired of Suffering in School” among other write-ups, said the protest would go on until the relevant authorities do the needful.
Some of them in a chat with our correspondent said despite paying huge amount of money, the school environment is not conducive for learning.
The female students also complained of poor sanitary Condition, adding that they spend over fifteen thousand naira to treat infection and other ailments.
They threatened to pull down the gate of the school if nothing is done in no time.
Meanwhile, the Management of the school had in a statement said it is working to address some of the issues raised by the students.
