Former chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon. Hope Ikiriko has denied report that all council chairmen under former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike were meant to pay N20 million every month to the then governor.
Speaking, during a stakeholders meeting in Ochigba on Thursday, Ikiriko described the report as a “blatant lie.”
According to him, such a thing never happened throughout their tenure and urged Rivers people to ignore the statement.
He also called for support for the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike and urged supporters not to be double minded in their support.
