The Social Democratic Party in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State, says the party will take over governance in the state next year.
Former Attorney General of Rivers State and leader of the party in the LGA, Worgu Boms said this during a stakeholders meeting in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
He charged party members to be committed and sincere in their dealings to enable the SDP emerge victorious in 2023.
Also, one of the leaders of the party, Engr. Dennis Ejekwu said the SDP does not need workers but, partners ahead of the general elections next year.
He charged stakeholders to see the project as their own as the party belongs to everybody.
The meeting which was attended by stakeholders of the party was to encourage members not to relent in their effort to ensuring that the SDP emerges victorious in next year’s election.
House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Brave Wobo, state Assembly candidate, Barr, Newman Amadi; ward leaders, women leaders and party executives amongst others graced the occasion.
