The Central Bank of Nigeria, says N13 billion of the new notes were printed and distributed to Banks in Port Harcourt.
Branch Controller of the CBN in Port Harcourt disclosed this in a statement Today, while reacting to President, Muhammadu Buhari’s broadcast this morning.
He stated that they have commenced immediate disbursement of the old 200-naira notes to banks in the state inline with the directive of Mr. President.
He also said they are doing everything humanly possible to ensure that the notes are accessible to Rivers people.
