ABUJA — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of popular social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, over alleged violations of the Cybercrimes Act of 2015.
A source within the EFCC, speaking to Vanguard on condition of anonymity, said Otse was apprehended on Sunday following multiple complaints alleging he used his online platforms to harass, insult, and intimidate individuals.
While the EFCC did not disclose the identities of the complainants or provide further specifics about the allegations, the source stated that the case is under investigation.
