“We Are Investigating Killing of Six Persons in Ahoada” – RSPC

The Rivers State Police Command has said that allegations that six people were killed in Odireke Ubie community in Ahoada West LGA by suspected cultists over the refusal of the community to pay them a N1.5 million naira levy is being investigated.

Spokesperson of the Rivers Police Command, Grace Iringe Koko, said this in a statement on Thursday.

According to her, the command will do everything within its powers to bring the killers to book.

There has been tension in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, following cult fights and killings in the area.
