The Rivers State Waste Management Agency, RIWAMA has warned some estates in Port Harcourt against patronizing cart pushers.
Acting Sole Administrator of the agency, Prince Ohia in a meeting with some estate managers in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor LGA’s warned residents against indiscriminate dumping of waste.
According to him, the indiscriminate dumping of waste is harmful to humans.
He noted that the agency is backed by law to arrest those who dump waste Indiscriminately, adding that it’s goal is to ensure a clean and green city.
