Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabiu Kwakwanso has said that even if Peter Obi accepts to be his running mate, that the people of the South East will not allow him.
Kwakwanso in a statement over the weekend, said this is a golden opportunity for the South East, as it will be a disaster if they lose it.
According to him, it is not strategic for the region not to accept.
“This is a golden opportunity, if they lose it, it will be a disaster,” he said
“Even if my friend [Peter Obi] wants to accept the vice-presidential candidate, some people in the south-east will not accept, that is not strategic,” he added.
