Villagers Accuse SP Angbasgim Of Working With Ndigbara, Call For His Removal

Some indigenes of Uegwere community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State have accused the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Bori Division, SP Bako Amgbashim of working with ex militant leader Solomon Ndigbara.

Former Community Development Chairman of the community, Ipianeh Godspower in a statement on Friday, called for Angbashim’s removal.

He said members of the community are being killed like chickens on a daily basis by Ndigbara’s boys, under the watchful eyes of the police officer.

He also alleged that more than 19 persons have been killed in the community by the ex militant leader who has been terrorizing the community for no just course.

Other indigenes of the community, also accused the police officer of knowing where Ndigbara’s camp where he perpetrates crime is.

The women, who are farmers said they have spotted the officer at the camp along their farm road on different occasions, interacting with Ndigbara and his boys.

They also alleged that they are being raped and beaten on as daily basis by the boys to scare them away from the area.
