Social media activist VeryDarkMan has issued a one-week ultimatum to the Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Hon. Eugene Chita Epelle, over the alleged assault of a young woman and the condition of Odiokwu Community Secondary School in Rivers State.
The ultimatum follows allegations that Ogadinma Minnie Uchechi was assaulted after she publicly raised concerns about the deteriorating state of the community’s secondary school.
Reacting through his platform, VeryDarkMan warned that if the local government fails to fix the identified issues at the school within one week, his non-governmental platform, the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative (MVOI), will step in to carry out the necessary repairs.
He further stated that the young woman at the centre of the controversy would be given the opportunity to spearhead the intervention project, which the initiative has pledged to fully fund.
As of press time, the local government chairman has not issued an official statement addressing the allegations or the ultimatum.
