The United States of America has fulfilled its promise of sending 200 ventilators to Nigeria, to help in the fight against coronavirus.
The President of America, Donald Trump had five months ago promised to send 200 ventilators to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The US finally donated the equipment to Nigeria, through its Agency for International Development (USAID), Today in Abuja.
Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire while receiving the ventilators on behalf of the Federal Government, commended the US Government for the kind gesture.
He said, “They will certainly be of great benefit to the people of Nigeria and I wish to convey the appreciation of His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and of the government of Nigeria, to President Donald Trump and the United States Government for the generous consideration and friendly gesture.”
