Unknown gunmen have reportedly killed four persons in Kono Bue community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Community Development Chairman of Kono Bue, Golden Nwigbakpor in a chat with journalists on Monday, said the incident happened over the weekend.
He said the assailants stormed the community; shot the victims, and left hurriedly, as the reason behind the attack is still unknown.
The CDC chairman, also said the four men were not cultists, but responsible Indigenes of the community.
Nwigbakpor called for heavy security presence in the area, to forestall another round of attacks.
