The University of Port Harcourt has officially released the schedule and designated venues for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all applicants who applied for various academic and non-academic positions in the ongoing recruitment exercise.
According to the notice, all invited applicants are required to appear at their allocated venues with a valid means of identification. Acceptable IDs include:
- National Identification Number (NIN) Slip or Card
- Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC)
- Driver’s Licence
- International Passport
Applicants are strongly advised to note that no one will be allowed into the test venue without a valid ID.
The CBT will take place from Monday, October 27 to Friday, October 31, 2025, across three approved centres — ICTC, BASIC, and ASHGROVE — with each day and venue assigned to specific categories of applicants as follows:
MONDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2025

ICTC: Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Deputy Bursar, Chief Accountant, Chief Computer Programmer, Medical Officer, Legal Officer, Principal Accountant, Assistant Librarian, Principal Assistant Registrar, Senior Assistant Registrar, Assistant Registrar.
BASIC: Accountant I, Data Processing Officer I & II, Senior Assistant Technologist.
ASHGROVE: Assistant Works Superintendent, Executive Officer (Accounts), Senior Clerical Officer.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2025

Applicants are advised to carefully check their assigned categories, dates, and venues, and to arrive early at their respective centres. The University reiterates that no applicant will be admitted into the CBT hall without a valid means of identification.
