Public Relations Officer of the University of Port Harcourt, Sammy Kpenu yesterday escaped death after his car tumbled on the expressway due to a break failure.
Kpenu who made this known in a statement Today, said he was rescued by the Police and passersby.
His statement reads,
Saved by His Grace.
My Vehicle tumbled yesterday on the Expressway after a brake failure.
The driver’s side fell sideways with the front and back tires completely facing upwards. This was after several waving, meandering, and crisscrossing from one part of the road to the other which was eventually stopped by a palm tree.
I was down below in the mud with my head facing downward while my seat belt would never let me go.
The Police and passersby came to our rescue, brought us out, and pulled the vehicle back.
Deep down, I was almost suffocating
