As part of the events marking its Combined Convocation Ceremony for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions, the University of Port Harcourt hosted a dinner in honour of its 363 First Class graduates.

The dinner, organised by the Vice Chancellor, served as a celebration of academic excellence and a tribute to the hard work of the institution’s top-performing students.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of the two Best Graduating Students — Victory Abanjo of the Department of Psychology, Guidance & Counselling, and Ibitayo Aloka of the Department of Biochemistry — who both graduated with an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.89.

The duo received a standing ovation from the audience for their exceptional academic achievement.
